Anna Gunn was born in America. Anna Gunn is an American actress. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student in Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio, where she continued her passion for the theatre. She studied theatre through Northwestern University and spent a year at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her journey in Chicago performing in stage role for several years. Then she moved to Hollywood where she started acting in films and TV shows. Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. The early 90s were when she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock, a character she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. Skyler played Martha Bullock on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully and Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. She was also a part of the podcast audio drama of four episodes called Numbered Days, which was launched in 2022. The love story with Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the narrative in Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and its eventual demise arguably mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final years of life.
